Issues with Using Technology in School-
PowerPoint Presentation
Before becoming a teacher, it
is important that you understanding some of the social, ethical, and legal
issues related to using technology in the classroom. Your assignment is
to prepare a 4-5 slide PowerPoint Presentation on one of the following
topics. You may use the links below for exploring your topic
further. For your topic, concentrate on explaining, in simple and clear
language and make sure since you will be only be making a 4-5 minute
presentation, that you have a narrow focus on the topic. For example, if
you choose the topic of Assistive Technologies, only share information about
how technology can help out one or two SPECIFIC disabilities.
Here are the three questions
that should be answered in your PowerPoint slides:

the issue is about.
- why
it is important for the classroom teacher to know about this issue.
- what
are some specific examples of technology or ideas for using technology
that can support the student/ teacher with this issue.
